Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church is a parish in the Diocese of the Midwest of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). It has been serving Joliet, IL since September 1907.· Over the last 100+ years, St. Nicholas has grown from a primarily immigrant parish to one whose members are primarily Americans both cradle and convert with some Eastern Europe transplants.
